The Turkish commander Abdullah who is at war in Chechnya, addressing to Turkish Muslims has told: "We wish to be sure, that you have not forgotten us".

In the appeal of commander Abdullah is told:

Five Russian Soldiers Killed During An Attack Against Russian Forces Camp In Argun

Commander Aslanbek's unit carried out a successful attack against a camp that belongs to the Russian forces in the town of Argun which is located between the capital city of Grozny and the town of Gudermes, and the attack was executed from different axis with automatic machine guns and Rocket Propelled Grenades RPG's. That attack was faced with a weak reaction that lead the unit to withdraw safely after competition of the operation. Special Mujahideen sources reported that Russian casualties that occurred in the camp were five killed and eight wounded.

A source in command of mojaheds has informed a following fighting report about operations of  Chechen mojaheds for last 10 days.

APC destroyed in Stariye Atagi (01.02.2007)

Operation is carried out by mojaheds under command of amir Abu Halid, who fights in Chechnya since times of the first war.

The diversive group of the Chechen fighters has mined along the line a military convoy of invaders. As a result of undermining 1 APC was destroyed, 3 invaders were killed and 3 -wounded.

As informs a source, invaders always move, pushing forward columns of sappers, for search and neutralization of mines for similar operations bring the big damage for occupants.

Around 450 rebels are fighting Russian troops in Chechnya, a higher estimate than previously given, the Reuters news agency reported on Friday quoting a newspaper interview with Russia’s top military officer in the north Caucasus, Lieutenant-General Arkady Yedelev.

In January a 6-month amnesty for rebel fighters ended with both pro-Kremlin Chechens and the Russian military hailing it as a great success and saying it had weakened separatist forces in the region.

“The number (of rebels) has clearly decreased (from the year before),” Yedelev told Rossiskaya Gazeta. “(But) if foreign groups throw money into subversive activities in Russia, the number of bandits may increase again as they are joined by local residents and foreign adventure seekers.”
