Numerous Russians Killed & Injured During Shelling Of Khankala Military Base
 
Commander "Mousa's" Unit Shelled the Russian military base in Khankala in the outskirts of the capital city of Grozny by firing a barrage of rockets which resulted in killing and injuring many Russian soldiers in addition to large physical damages that afflicted the scene. No specific news of the Russian casualties had as yet reached the Mujahideen.
It's worth mentioning that the Khankala base is considered the largest Russian military base in Chechnya and it accommodates the highest ranking officers of the Russian Army in Chechnya.

The blessed first 10 days of the holy month of Dhul Hijjeh, witnessed strong military operations for Mujahideen in Chechnya, in which the following present the most important events:
- Commander Rabbani Unit executed a military operation that destroyed an armored personnel carrier east of the town of Gudermes which resulted in killing its 8 crew members.
- A Russian officer and his escort (two soldiers) were killed when the were leaving Tsentori military base in Vedeno Region after a successful ambush that was set by Mujahideen against the car that they were using. Thanks to Mujahideen intelligence that were passed accurately.
