''We are planning to enlist Chechen natives, experts from the anti-terrorism centre to form special battalions,'' RIA Novosti news agency quoted the commander of the Russian Interior Ministry Troops Col General Nikolai Rogozhkin as saying.
''These battalions, called ''North'' and ''South'' will be deployed in the Chechen capital Grozny and Vedensky district of Chechnya,'' he said and added the overall Interior Ministry Troops contingent in Chechnya might be reduced in 2006.
''Depending on the tasks set for the spring-summer period, next year, the contingent could be reduced. The amount of the task will be determined by the regional headquarters,'' he said.

Moreover, the “majority” are from the pro-Putin United Russia Party and even the LDPR and Rogozin’s Motherland, parties that have frequently put forward such “original” solutions to the Chechen question as “A good Chechen is a dead Chechen”. True, there are also deputies from the “branches” of the SPS, a party that sees the solution to the Chechen question in the division of Chechnya into “pro-Russian” and “mountain-tribal” sectors, i.e. in the creation of a reservation in the mountains. Near to Urus-Martan villages in December 17 Mujhiadeen undermined a vehicle with national-traitors as a result of which three munafiqs were destroyed. In the district, near to Roshni-Chu villages Russian invaders stepped on a mine of Mujahideen. Thus two invaders were killed on the spot and the third one got wounded. Two munafiqs were wounded during a clash between Mujahideen forces and national-traitors on December 18 near to Serjen-yurt villages.
