GROZNY. Nov 30 (Interfax) - One serviceman has been injured in an operation being conducted in Chechnya's Vedeno district to hunt down a militant group discovered by federal forces near Eshil-Khotoi.
The local police told Interfax on Wednesday that the militants opened fire wounding one serviceman. He was rushed to hospital and given medical assistance.
Operational reports indicate there are killed and wounded on the militant side. The effort to track them continues.
18 invaders and their stooges killed, wounded in Chechnya
The source of AFR (Agence France-Presse) inside the pro-Moscow puppet administration in Chechnya reported that 6 Russian invaders and one national-traitor, se so-called “policeman” were killed from last Tuesday to Wednesday.
4 so-called "soldiers" have been eliminated and 4 have been wounded during 18 attacks of Mujahideen on positions of Russian invaders. One militant from Yamadayev’s ‘Vostok’ gang has been eliminated and 3 others wounded as a result clash with Mujahideen in Vedeno district. In this clash 2 Mujahideen martyred and 2 got wounded. Crossfire continued also in the evening on November, 30th.

The spokesman of the Eastern Front of CRI Armed Forces reported about the fierce battles in the area of Eshelhatoy village of Vedeno district of CRI, which took place on 29 and 30 November. Chechen Mujahideen destroyed 7 and wounded 12 munafiqs from Yamadayev gangs.
According to the same source, battles began after the mobile group of Mujahideen has destroyed two Yamadayevans who were scouting near Eshelhatoy. After that, the gang formations of munafiqs who were supported with tanks and helicopters move out from the Vedeno towards Eshelhatoy. Mujahideen arranged ambushes and attacked them.
The fiercest fights has noted in the morning on November 30, when combat helicopters of invaders a few times attacked positions of Mujahideen.
During these combats two Mujahideen became Shaheeds (insha Allah), spokesman reported.
According to Chechen military sources in the district of Agishty settlement the sabotage squad of Mujahideen has blown up an APC of invaders. Three Russian kafirs have been killed and several wounded as a result of this action, the sources say.
One more blowing up has been conducted in western suburb of capital Jokhar in Kirov district. According to the same source, an UAZ military jeep with mercenaries was undermined here on the eve. As a result of explosion one mercenary had been destroyed and four wounded.
In the meantime, according to radio Liberty a group of Russian invaders, the so-called field engineers were came under fire in Sharoy district of Chechnya. One officer and two mercenaries, whom the Russian and western propagation calls “contract soldier” were wounded.

A military truck triggered a bomb in the Vedeno district in the south of Chechnya, a source in the republican military commandant's office told Caucasian Knot's correspondent. The incident occurred in the afternoon on 5 December in the vicinity of the mountainous village of Dargo.
"A GAZ-66 truck with servicemen of the Russian Internal Affairs Ministry's interior troops triggered a powerful homemade explosive device near Dargo, Vedeno district, in the afternoon yesterday. Two conscripts, Denisenko and Baulin, were killed on the spot as a result of the explosion. Another three soldiers, Doronin, Aviltsev, and Doshchechnikov, sustained various wounds and were admitted to the military hospital at the federal base in Khankala," the source with the military commandant's office said.
