Only Allah the Almighty and the Chechen people can change the status of Chechnya
SIA CHECHENPRESS November 1, 2007
I express my resolute support of the statement made by the Foreign Minister of the ChRI Akhmed Zakaev on 31 October 2007.
At the same time I am certain that neither Doku Umarov, nor Udugov can possibly abolish the ChRI Constitution of 12 March 1992, which was adopted with the participation of the great son of the Chechen people Djokhar Dudaev and his close associates.
Only Allah the Almighty and His Majesty the Chechen people could change the status of Chechnya and the status of its Constitution. This is what Dudaev used to say and I totally agree with him. I wish the Parliament and the Government an opportunity to work as before, according to the fundamental law of our state, and I hope that ... >>full

Ministry of Internal Affairs for Ingushtiya Continues the Practice of Hiding Crimes from the Records
"ingushetiya.ru",
November 1, 2007
The local municipal district department is continuing the practice of concealing from the records crimes committed in the republic. Minister Musa Medov’s instruction not to register crimes if they have not been exposed “in a hot trail” is being executed unquestioningly. Locals going to the police with reports of theft and other crimes are talked out of officially lodging papers, but if they insist, then their declarations are left in the front office without being registered.
Also left unregistered in Nazran’s Municipal Department of Internal Affairs is yesterday’s armed assault on people relaxing in a sauna near “Malsagovsky market”.
The practice of hiding crimes from the books continues despite the recent appointment of new deputies for the Minister of Internal Affairs for Ingushetiya.
Our source reports from Chechnya, Ramzan Saluyev (Amir Ramzan), the Commander of Shato Sector, was killed in combat on 21 October in South-Western Chechnya.
According to those sources, Ramzan’s aide became a martyr (God willing) together with his Amir. The two mojahedeen had been ambushed by Russian invaders. Ramzan Saluyev was shot by a sniper. His comrade-in-arms kept fighting for the next 45 minutes, until he ran out of ammunition and then blown-up himself. http://www.chechenpress.co.uk/english/news/2007/11/05/08.shtml
