A roadside bomb exploded as a group of Russian interior ministry occupation troops was carrying out "search operations" in southern Chechnya, killing one of the Russian invaders, the occupiers said Wednesday.

The explosive went off Tuesday, Novenber 14, 2006, near the village of Tazen-Kale in the Vedeno region, according to a report from the AP.

A mobile group of Chechen Mujahideen, executing its combat task, engaged in a firefight with a unit of Russian invaders in the Shatoi district on Wednesday, November 15, 2006, according to a report from the Military Committee Headquarters of the CRI State Defense Council Majlisus Shura for the Kavkaz Center news agency. Nine Russian soldiers were killed and several others were wounded in a fierce battle. One Mujahid also martyred (Shaheed, insha Allah) and 4 others were slightly wounded in the action.

A group in Russian invaders was struck with a landmine that exploded on a path near an abandoned Mujahideen dugout 3 km west from the village of Aghishty in the Bass River Gorge. One Russian soldier was killed and another one was severely wounded in the blast, according to Radio Liberty citing a report from Russian occupiers. No further details were mentioned in the report.

According to Radio Liberty, at least 3 Russians and proxies were killed and 7 others were severy wounded in a battle between Mujahideen and Russian invaders in the area of the village of Musol Aul in the Shatoi district of Chechnya on Thursday, November 23, 2006. Earlier, the Russians claimed that only 2 their occupation troops were purportedly wounded in the action.

According to a Russian occupation media news report, a Chechen commander, Bogdan Suleimanov, also martyred (insha Allah) in this battle.

The Russian report is unreliable because the invaders said that Amir Seleimanov had taken part in the Mujahideen attack on November 7, 2006, in the border area between the Shatoi and the Saroi districts. Russians reported  that at least 7 their troops were annihilated in that firefight. The invaders ...
