During the fierce firefight two Mujahideen became Shaheeds (Martyrs). Russians have admitted of losing two of their bandits; however the casualties will probably be more. Also reported that invaders have captured the owner of the house in which Mujahideen were defending. Occupational sources report that in Naur district of northern CRI near Novoterskoye settlement the mobile squad of Mujahideen attacked a block post of kafirs from Sverdlovsk province of Russia. One more base of Russian kafirs has been came under attack in Itum-Kali. Invaders said that only two of their soldiers were wounded in that attack. The spokesman for the Military Council of the State Defense Council Majlis al-Shura of CRI reported that 18 Russians and their collaborators were killed and 14 more wounded as a result of combat and sabotage operations in different regions of the country during a 24 hour period during October 25 to the 26th. According to the Chechen source, the Mujahideen carried out attacks in Jokhar, Grozny-Selsk, Vedeno and the Nojay-Yurt districts of CRI. MOSCOW, October 31 (Itar-Tass) - Two policemen were killed and three others received wounds as they attempted to detain two militants in Chechnya’s Shatoi region on Sunday, law enforcement sources in Chechnya told Itar-Tass on Monday.
The militants offered armed resistance, killing two interior troops – a contract sergeant and a private soldier, the sources said. Two more policemen were hospitalized with wounds, they added.
The attackers were destroyed in return fire. They are now being identified. The owner of the house where they were hiding has been detained. A Kalashnikov automatic rifle and a Makarov pistol with cartridges were seized at the site.
