Over the past week, the combatants of the ChRI Armed Forces and of the Caucasus Front conducted a number of successful operations against Russian invaders and terrorists and local gangs of national traitors. Between 10 and 16 September, the enemy has lost at least 62 men killed (at least 56 of them Russian troops, some of the others were local collaborators). At least 26 invaders and collaborators were wounded. At least 4 military vehicles, two of them armoured (BRMD and BTR), were destroyed by Chechen operations. On the Chechen side, at least one combatant was killed and other four wounded. Our source in Osetian jamaat of Kataib al Khoul informs that the Osetian rebels attacked a military transport helicopter of Russian invaders. ... >> full

The "Vostok" gang is a detachment of the Russian military intelligence GRU and consists of local armed proxies. The GRU officers were hospitalized. The gang traveled to a punishment expedition according to a Russian news report on Monday, October 9, 2006. 6 Russian terrorists from the GRU have been recently arrested in Georgia on espionage charges. Earlier this year, the GRU blew up several pipelines in Georgia and reportedly blasted two gas pipelines in Iran in August and September 2006. No further details of the action were mentioned in the report. Meanwhile, a puppet troop from the gang "kadyrovtsy" fell out of a car traveling at high speed on a road in Jokhar on October 9, 2006. It is not quite clear whether he fell out himself or was kicked out by other members of the gang. Later, he died in a hospital according to a report from a Kavkaz Center source in Jokhar. 5 Russians, Proxies Killed in Chechnya

3 Russian soldiers and 2 their local puppets were killed during the attacks by Chechen Mujahideen on positions of invaders and collaborators in the Chechen capital of Jokhar in the night October 9-10, 2006 according to a report from the Chechen Military Command. According to radio intercept, at least 7 other Russians and puppets were wounded. The Mujahideen suffered no casualties.
Russian artillery proceeded with intensive bombing of forested areas south and east of the district center of Vedeno for the 4th day already. No information about casualties among civilians was available according to the Chechen commander report.

A powerful blast hit the Chechen capital of Jokhar late Wednesday, October 11,2006, the puppets reported. A bomb placed in the garage of an abandoned building facing the puppets' "culture ministry" exploded in Jokhar's Avtorkhanov district, breaking windows and damaging the "ministry" facade and three cars in front of it.
No casualties were reported by Russian media, as usual. As of press time, no information about the attack was available from the Chechen Mujahideen.
