A mobile group of Mujahideen attacked Russian positions in Zavodsky district of the Chechen capital of Jokhar on the night between September 30-October 1. Two kafirs (infidels) were killed and not less than 4 others wounded in the shooting.

On the same night Mujahideen opened fire on a Russian security post in Staropromyslovsky district of Jokhar. According to radio intercept, 3 kafirs were wounded.

A mobile group of Mujahideen attacked a Russian patrol in Zavodsky district of Jokhar on the night between October 1-2, killing at least 2 Russian terrorists. The Mujahideen suffered no casualties.

As required by their information blockade, the Russians reported only one their terrorist wounded in this attack.

A Russian military reconnaissance patrol had been attacked in a landmine explosion in a forested area of Achkhoi Martan district Monday, October 2, killing one and heavily wounding also one Russian terrorist, the Prague-based US government station Radio Liberty said citing Russian puppets sources.

No information about the real extent of Russian casualties in the incident was available till the filing of this report.

The Kavkaz Center news agency received a statement of Amir Jundullah (Abdurahman Kamaluddin), the Volga Front Commander of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria's Armed Forces.

The statement says:

The Chechen Web site Daymohk distributed the tally of combat operations for September 2006 which had been carried out by separate units operating under the command of Colonel Abubakar Elmuradov (Commander of the CRI Armed Forces North-Western Front). Because the tally was transmitted by SMS, there are no details of the operations and no information about the enemy casualties.

A few days ago Russian occupation soldiers captured a Chechen girl who left her house to bring water from a draw-well and raped her. Being unable to endure the shame, the girl hanged herself the same day, a local source told the Kavkaz Center news agency giving no other details.
