A Russian military convoy has been ambushed and attacked by Chechen Muhahideen in Shelkovo district today, Saturday, September 30. Two Russian humvees were disabled. According to radio intercept, 3 kafirs (infidels) were killed and at least 7 others wounded. There had been no casualties among the Mujahideen, a spokesman of the North-Eastern Front Headquarters of the CRI Armed Forces (Commander: Amir Taghir) reported.
Earlier, enemy-hunting units of the North-Eastern Front carried out successful combat operations to destroy manpower and military equipment of the invaders.

30/09/2006 13:00 GROZNY, September 30 (RIA Novosti) - No one was wounded as unknown assailants tried to blow up a police motorcade in Chechnya, the North Caucasus republic's Interior Ministry said Saturday.
"A landmine was blown up in Chechnya's Shelkovskaya District on the way of two UAZ and one Ural vehicles," the ministry said.
Spokesmen said the column was heading for Daghestan.

As reported by the Russians more than 24 hours after the incident, a unit of 5 Chechen Mujahideen attacked with small arms a gang of Russian terrorists from the so called "Russian interior ministry" in the area between villages Borze and Yuverchu Gonkha in Vedeno district on Saturday, September 30, as the invaders tried to deploy a "covering detachment".
As typical in the conditions of the Russian information blockade of Chechnya, the invaders claimed suffering no casualties.
No information on the real nature or extemt of Russian casualties in this attack was available from Mujahideen or independent sources till the filing of this report.

Late Monday, September 2, Mujahideen attacked a Russian military convoy consisting of two humvees with terrorists who belonged to the the Russian interior ministry's paramilitary gang VOGOIP operating in Kurchaloi district. The gang was attacked with submachine guns on a highway between villages Tsotsin Yurt and Mesker Yurt in Kurchaloi district.
As required by the information blockade, Russian invaders reported only one their terrorist wounded and hosplitalized.
Another convoy of Russian interior ministry's terrorists was attacked in the town of Argun. No further details were given.
