Chechnya minister comments on lethal attack on parliament building
MOSCOW. Oct 27 (Interfax) - Militants who recently stormed the Chechen parliament building and Tsentoroi, the home village of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, were members of a group led by top field commander Khusein Gakayev, Chechen Interior Minister Ruslan Alkhanov told Interfax by telephone.
Commenting on the attack in August on Tsentoroi, Alkhanov said: "Gakayev organized it in order to show that there still is something he is capable of."
Alkhanov added: "Militants may get into any population center but they won't be able to get out of it."
