As reported by some Arab and Russian sources, sheikh Qaradawi, who has been subjected to sharp criticism from leading Islamic scholars of the world for his outrageous fatwa for many years, made another controversial statement.
He said that Khoj-Akhmed Kadyrov, uncle of the ringleader of Chechen puppets, as well as the so-called "representative of the spiritual administration of the Chechen republic in the Gulf countries", a certain Daudov, asked him to evaluate the actions of Mujahideen in Chechnya and the Caucasus.
Sheikh Qaradawi responded to their request with a large and difficult to read tirade, which was announced by Kadyrov's apostates as a "fatwa". (it can be read using this link)
In his "fatwa" Qaradawi, in particular, has accused Chechen Mujahideen in ignorance, in unjustified Takfir and violence.
The main postulate in this fatwa was Qaradawi's claim that "Islam has forbidden changing the decried, if it leads to greater harm. And it is prescribeed to get rid of harm in the same way, especially when there will be even greater harm after that".
Furthermore, Qaradawi has called the Jihad of Mujahideen in Chechnya and the Caucasus "a violence that has nothing to do with the letter of sharia or with its spirit".
He mentioned for the Mujahideen in Chechnya and the Caucasus the Egyptian groups al-Jihad and Al-Gama'a al-Islamiyya, which in war against the regime have gone "through military actions, and chose the path of armed conflict", "although they did not have power to do so".
Qaradawi believes that these groups had to use democratic processes, elections to parliament in order to achieve goals.
"They did not use methods of clarification and call to people, or education and direction, and peaceful ways in universities, mosques, and through democratic processes such as elections, participation in parliament in order to achieve their goals and gain freedom for the people and bring it benefit", Qaradawi said.
Qaradawi also believes that the killing of puppet ringleaders whom the infidel invaders put on the necks of Muslims, will not lead to the goal, since it would be worse.
"The murder of president, prime minister, or director of state security does not solve the problems facing them, and in most cases, they are replaced by those who are more worse, more cruel and deny dialogue with the Islamists".
Qaradawi completed his "fatwa" with the words of some Arab poet.
It is to be recalled that the leading Islamic scholars have repeatedly accused sheikh Qaradawi because of his controversial fatwas in conformity, in ignorance of the provisions of Sharia and Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and simply in delusion and distortion of the Sharia.
One who gave most accurate and precise estimate of Qaradawi was Sheikh Albani, who said:
"Yusuf al-Qaradawi studied in al-Azhar University, and it is not on manhaj (methodology) according to Quran and Sunnah. He issues to people such fatwa which contradict the Sharia. He has a lot of philosophical ideas, and when it comes to something forbidden by Sharia, he gets rid of the ban with words: "there is no conclusive evidence that forbids it!", and for this reason he made music permissible.
It is contrary to the unanimous opinion (ijma), that it is not necessary for the provisions of Sharia to be conditioned by plain text! Qaradawi also says: "The proof is the Quran, Sunnah, ijma and qiyas (analogy). However, the analogy is not a proof, since it is the ijtihad (the process of making a legal decision by independent interpretation of the legal sources). Basing on this he have made permissible many things and weakened the provisions of Shari". see "Sufi al-Banna al-Qaradawi".
Also, when Sheikh Ibn Jibreen was asked about dr. Qaradawi's fatwas that contradict many of the provisions of the Sharia, he replied: "There is no doubt that this man makes concessions (in religion)! The reason for this is that he wants to be loved by people, and therefore he does concessions for them. For example, when he saw that most people listen to music, he said that it is not prohibited.
We say: do not listen to his fatwas, and warns people against them!" see "'Anil Qaradawi".
Dr. Qaradawi himself does not deny this, who says that his goal is relief for the people. see "al-Fatwa Bayna al-Indibat" 113.
It is to be recalled that one of the last Qaradawi's fatwas are permissions to use alcohol and sing songs by women before men.
