Vedeno-District Is "Zone Of Death" For Russian Occupants
Chechen sources report, that yesterday at least 15 Russian soldiers were killed in Chechen attacks in the Vedeno-District, which is only called "Zone of Death" by the Russian occupants, due to their high losses there. Furthermore the Chechen command declared, that the mountain woods in Vedeno are under complete Chechen control, furthermore the Chechen freedom Fighters have set up many checkpoints in this district, where they check the traffic.
Large groups of Chechen soldiers walk through villages even in daytime, and most of the Russian bases there are actually in a state of siege. Transportation of the Russian army is already conducted by helicopters, because the Russian convoys on the roads are under constant Chechen attacks. In addition to the increasind attacks, there are more and more Kadyrovites voluntarily joining the Mujahideen, using the amnesty by Dokka Umarov.
Another Chechen source reported, that in the first seven months of 2007 at least 3200 Russian soldiers were killed in the Vedeno-District. The Chechen source stressed out, that AT LEAST 3200 occupants were killed, and maybe more than that number, because in some attacks the rebels, they don´t know the exact Russian casualties. Furthermore some wounded soldiers die later in the hospitals. There is no information about the Kadyrovites-losses so far for the current year.
