The following is a translation from Arabic to English Languages of published news by www.qoqaz.com, about military operations of freedom fighters in Chechnya, dated "28-January-2007":
Heavy Clashes In Kurshaloy With Loss Of Contact With Commander Beslan
Commander Beslan's Unit, managed to repulse an attack that was carried out by elements of the puppet government against one of the unit's centers, which resulted in killing two and injuring others of the attackers. During that time, a large support from the Russian forces arrived and tried to implement a siege around the unit, but when that action was noticed, the unit started pulling out from different axes while the clashes were going on in and around the area with the Russian forces, that were supported by helicopters. During the withdrawal, contact with Commander Beslan was lost, while he was covering a secure and safe passage with small group of his unit.
Russians announced that they were able to kill Commander Beslan, but until this moment, it was not ascertained of that. We are asking Almighty God to save Mujahideen and to direct their aimings.
More will be available later about Commander Beslan.
