Two kafirs (infidels) were killed and not less than 4 others wounded in the shooting.
On the same night Mujahideen opened fire on a Russian security post in Staropromyslovsky district of Jokhar. According to radio intercept, 3 kafirs were wounded.
A mobile group of Mujahideen attacked a Russian patrol in Zavodsky district of Jokhar on the night between October 1-2, killing at least 2 Russian terrorists. The Mujahideen suffered no casualties.
As required by their information blockade, the Russians reported only one their terrorist wounded in this attack.
Russian aviation bombed Vedeno district of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria on the night between September 30-October 1. Several bombs supposedly hit the area of village Janni Vedeno.
On the same night Russian artillery pounded a forested area near village Avtury. No information about possible casualties among civilians was available.
