Gunbattle near Dishni-Vedeno
Spokesman of Military Council Majlisul Shura of CRI reported to Kavkaz Center news agency about an ambush against Russian kafirs’ Spetsnaz unit that was carried out by Mujahideen of Amir Hayrulla’s group near Dishni-Vedeno village the day before. During the firefight 5 kafirs were eliminated and many wounded. According to spokesman kafirs in a panic have withdrew to their regiment’s dislocation in vicinities of Vedeno town.
The source report that after gun battle Russian invaders a few hours bombed vicinities of Dishni-Vedeno and Vedeno. Mujahideen did not incur any losses in these attacks.
Additional information about firefight near village Nikihat in CHR’s Kurchaloy has reported. According to occupational sources as a result of attack of Mujahideen 5 invaders were killed and 6 others were injured. Some units of military hardware were disabled.
Let's remind that in the morning, on May 17, Mujahideen arranged an ambush and attacked Russian military convoy. Mujahideen did not incur any losses.
Mujahideen attacked Russian military base
American website Site Institute, by referring to information which was aired on May 13, 2006 in Arabian portal of Mujahideen Alqoqaz.net, has reported that on May 7, two groups of Chechen Mujahideen in the village of Serjen-Yurt, involving the firing of an anti-aircraft gun at a Russian base, purportedly inflicting heavy losses on the enemy.
The website also reports that big operations were launched in Chechnya last Monday, composed of all Mujahideen groups in the Caucuses, causing the Russian forces to cancel their "Victory Feast".
"Mujahideen of Caucasus have sent a message to Russian President Vladimir Putin that the Chechen Mujahideen are after him and his occupying soldiers until the full victory", Arabian portal alqoqaz.net reports.
