Spokesman of Military Council Majlisul Shura of CRI reported to Kavkaz Center news agency that recently mobile squads of Mujahideen considerably activate their actions in capital Jokhar at night time.
According to Chechen command, at night from May 21 to 22, Mujahideen attacked positions, outposts, and patrols of invaders in capital Jokhar. During these attacks 4 aggressors and local collaborators have been eliminated and 5 others injured. Earlier at night from May 20 to 21, Mujahideen have shot 2 mercenaries in Zavoskoy districts of the capital and 4 more aggressors have been wounded during attacks of their check points.
The source in Chechen command also reported that on the night of May 22, Mujahideen have attacked Russian positions of Vedeno district. No exact number of killed and wounded has been established. Night attacks on kafirs’ positions occur here regularly.
One more night attack of Mujahideen (May 20) has been carried out in Itum-Kali district. Mujahideen attacked Russian invaders’ base by using grenade launchers and machine guns. As a result of this attack Russian invaders incurred casualties, however Chechen side do not have the exact number.
BTR and 7 kafirs destroyed in Nojay-Yurt district
Spokesman of Military Council Majlisul Shura of CRI reported to Kavkaz Center news agency that in the morning of May 22, in 1,5-2 km from Yalhoy-Mohk village, sabotage squad of Mujahideen have blown up BTR armored vehicle by a remote-controlled mine. As a result of this attack 7 kafirs were eliminated.
