CHECHNYA, 2 January, Caucasus Times - A 42-year-old resident of Dzhokhar [Groznyy] died yesterday as a result of severe beating by bandits from the terrorist centre under the so-called Chechen interior ministry.
Relatives of the murdered man told the agency that the bandits from the terrorist centre tried to overtake the car which he was driving. They stopped the car, dragged him out of it and beat him severely. He was taken to hospital No 9 in critical condition but doctors could not save his life.
