A bomb detonated five kilometres away from Gekhi-Chu, Urus-Martan district, wounding a military man, Junior Sergeant Alexander Mukovnikov, on 27 August, a source with Chechnya's law enforcement agencies told ITAR-TASS earlier today.
A group of unidentified persons fired automatic weapons at a Ural vehicle with officers of law enforcement agencies near the Minutka Square in Grozny's Oktiabrskii district. Two police officers were wounded in the attack, the unit on duty of the republican Internal Affairs Ministry told Caucasian Knot earlier today.
