Protest action held in Kabardino-Balkaria after disappearance of three persons

Inconsistent bill displeased public in KBR

On October, 31st at 9:00 in the morning near the building of KBR parliament (Tolstoy’s street, Lenin’s prospect) it had been announced about a gathering of citizens anxious with the land reform’s implementation in KBR. In the opinion of Adygeyan public men, the parliament of the republic should not consider the bills frozen in December, 2008 which had led to the aggravation of the political situation in KBR.

Such opinion developed after the next session of the conciliatory commission considering questions of the land reform’s implementation in the republic, on October, 29th. In the agenda it was sounded three basic questions: first of all that concerned the rules of working of the conciliatory commission in which relation the decision to give legitimacy to any voting with results of 2/3 voices given for this or that question was adopted.

Factories’ opening continues in Kabardino-Balkaria

A modern factory on producing natural leather “Karista”, supposed for processing nearby 2,4 thousand tons of leather a year, had been constructed in aul Cheghem of Kabardino-Balkaria.

The enterprise will be launched in the beginning of this November, but the press-service of the president and the government of KBR had already informed that the factory cost 200 million rubles; the modern Italian and Turkish equipment for produce of leather was installed there.

According to the general director of the factory Vyacheslav Sultanov, to the middle of the next year fabrication of the obverse leather will be increased up to 67,5 thousand sq. m a month. For manufacture of suede and velour - up to 78,75 thousand sq. m a month.

Production of the factory will be delivered to the regions of the Southern federal district, as well as Moscow and St.-Petersburg.

Ibraghim Yaganov: Conciliatory commission in Kabardino-Balkaria appeared to be fake

On October, 29th at the session of the Conciliatory commission at Kabardino-Balkarian Parliament it was offered to vote for a package of bills, "establishing the order of use of lands with view of nomadic animal industry", including the bill "About status of lands of nomadic animal industry in Kabardino-Balkarian Republic".

As the member of the commission Ibraghim Yaganov told “Caucasian uzel” correspondent, it was a question of the bill which had been blocked before the second reading in the last year.

In the interlocutor’s opinion, the whole situation around creation of the conciliatory commission had been caused by that "the authority wished to create some visibility of public examination".
