NALCHIK. July 23 (Interfax) - Two traffic police officers were killed in a shootout with unidentified gunmen in Nalchik, the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, on the night of Saturday, local police sources told Interfax.
It was the second attack on policemen in the republic over the past two days.
The incident occurred on the city's Profsoyuznaya Street at 2:55 a.m. Moscow time, one of the sources said.
