Clashes taking place in the vicinity of villages Alkun, Dattyh, and Arshty

Publication time: 13 June 2009, 13:53

Sources from Ghalghaycho (Ingushetia) Province of the Caucasus Emirate report that combats continue in the vicinity of villages Alkun, Dattyh and Arshty, despite the fact that the infidels and apostates for the third time have imposed here the so-called "counter-terrorist operation" regime and have repeatedly declared that "they are pursuing the isolated groups of militants".

We would like to remind that this "pursuing" is going on since 16 May, when ringleaders of apostates, Yevkurov and Kadyrov, announced the beginning of large-scale military operations against the Mujahideen.

Just a couple of days before that Kadyrov said "50 militants left in the forest". After 3 weeks Yevkurov said 26 Mujahideen have allegedly been killed. Thus, according to the puppets, no more than 25 men are now fighting against thousands of apostates and infidels.

Top Judge In Russia's Volatile Ingushetia Shot Dead

NAZRAN/MAKHACHKALA -- A top judge in Russia's restive republic of Ingushetia has been assassinated, RFE/RL's Russian Service reports.

Unknown attackers in two vehicles opened fire with machine guns on a car belonging to Aza Gazgireyeva, the deputy chairwoman of Ingushetia's Supreme Court.

The attack occurred in Ingushetia's largest town of Nazran.

RFE/RL's correspondent quotes witnesses as saying that six people were injured in the attack.

Gazgireyeva was appointed to the post of deputy chairwoman 18 months ago after her predecessor, Khasan Yandiev, was also gunned down in his car.

"Aza Gazgireyeva was a judge with 25 years experience...the reason for her murder was her professional activities," Supreme Court chairman Mikhail Zadvornov was quoted by Interfax news agency as saying.

In another volatile republic of Russia's North Caucasus, Daghestan, unknown attackers gunned down a policeman and a federal OMON officer in separate incidents on June 9.

Four Militants Killed In Russia's Ingushetia
6-5-09 1:36 AM EDT

MOSCOW (AFP)--Four militants and a member of the security forces were killed in a clash in the southern Russian region of Ingushetia, the Interfax news agency reported Friday.

A security source told the agency security forces uncovered a group of 12 militants while carrying out a search operation in the Caucasus region.

"In the armed clash one member of the security forces was killed. Four militants were neutralized. Their identity is being established."

Despite the end of a decade-long "counter-terrorist" operation in neighboring Chechnya, largely Muslim Ingushetia remains the scene of fatal clashes between the police and Islamist militants.
