Jan 01 2011, 21:00

In the village of Ordzhonikidzevskaya, Sunzha District of Ingushetia, three young men have been kidnapped supposedly by power agents. Two of them came back home with bruises - results of beatings, while the fate of the third one is still unknown, runs the statement of Musa Khamkhoev, his father, addressed to the Ombudsman of Ingushetia and human rights activists.

His application says that on December 30, 2010, at about 9 in the evening the house of the Pliev family at No. 31 Rosa Luxemburg Street in Ordzhonikidzevskaya was visited by power agents, who came in ATCs (armoured troop carriers) and armoured cars.

"Having cordoned off the street, they entered the yard, but never presented themselves and showed no documents. Faces of virtually all of them were covered with cloth masks," runs the statement, which was posted on the blog page of the "Caucasian Knot" by Magomed Mutsolgov.

According to Mr Khamkhoev, the power agents brought out of the house and searched brothers Magomed and Ahmed Pliev and Adam Khamkhoev, the son of the author of the statement, who was visiting his young friends.

"Then, bags were put over the heads of all three, and the young men were taken away to some unknown place. We've addressed Mr Gurba, V. N., Head of the FSB Department for the Republic of Ingushetia (RI), and Mr Atigov, B. M., Secretary of the Security Council of the RI, but they took no steps," said Musa Khamkhoev.

According to his story, in the afternoon on December 31 the Plievs were released. Signs of beatings were seen on them; according to their story, all the three young men were tortured. Adam Khamkhoev's whereabouts is still unknown.

The law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia gave no comments on the facts.
