Dec 31 2010, 20:00

On December 30, an operative agent from a special-purpose militia unit, deployed near Moscow, received serious traumas at detention of an offender in the Sunzha District of Ingushetia; this was reported by a source from local law enforcement bodies.

The incident occurred in the highway Ordzhonikidzevskaya - Troitskaya at 9:30 Moscow time, when militiamen tried to stop a Lada car, driven by a suspect - certain Dourbekov.

"At detention, the suspect tried to escape and ran into the above operative agent who was on his service trip there. As a result, the latter received a serious leg injury and was hospitalized," said the source.

The colleagues of the victim detained the offender; now the decision is taken on initiating a criminal case against him, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
