Russian media continues to discuss a sudden "recognition" of the Islamic state on the Russian-occupied territory of the Northern Caucasus through a Russian court decision banning it and expresses different views.
A Moscow paper,Kommersant, which stands close to the KGB, cites a Chechen refugee from the inner circle of the former Ichkerian Foreign Minister, Akhmed Zakayev, who repeats an old fable that the Caucasus Emirate has been created by the KGB. The paper testifies for a mental instability of Russian invaders.
"Banning" the Emirate Caucasus, a Russian so-called "attorney general's office" and a so-called "supreme court" had an intention to close down its information resource, the website Kavkazcenter.com, registered in Europe, in the first place, the paper writes.
However, it seems that such a step would lead to an opposite effect: "banning" the Emirate, Russia actually recognized it as an independent state through a decision of its so-called "supreme court" and gave free advertising to the country, the Zakayev's human rights activist complained in an interview with Kommersant.
He also said that after the proclamation of the Caucasus Emirate the "Ichkerian fighters" felt offended, have all gone to Western Europe and now there's only a couple of "terrorists" left fighting in the mountains.
"The ideologists of the Caucasus Emirate, Movladi Udugov and Isa Umarov, are trying to influence young people encouraging them to commit terrorist acts allegedly for the sake of religious ideas," the Zakayev man explained to the paper.
The Zakayev's human rights activist also believes that the Caucasus Emirate would allegedly "never solve" political problems and that the Emirate has been created "solely in order to carry out propaganda activities through the Internet."
In his turn, the chairman of the Islamic Committee of Russia Heidar Jemal testified that in fact the command of the Mujahideen of the Caucasus Emirate has an "influential and effective organization structure, conducts successful military and sabotage operations in Nokhchicho (AKA Ichkeria/Chechnya), Dagestan, Ghalghaycho (Ingushetia) and in other North Caucasian Provinces".
According to his testimony, the "Emirate's ideological work harvest good results - there's a lot of young men, not only Caucasians, but also Slavs among the Mujahideen. According to Jemal, the Caucasus Emirate doesn't need any advertising because its leaders are already well known", the Moscow paper writes.
The recognition of the Islamic state in the Northern Caucasus by Russia three years after its proclamation, perplexed even the most villain criminals like Adam Delimkhanov, the murderer of Sulim Yamadayev, a cousin of Kadyrov, his successor, a personal executioner and a part-time deputy of the Russian parliament who was included into the Interpol list of wanted criminals at a request by the UAE police.
"It is strange that ... they recognized it only now," the criminal said to Kommersant.
