Tbilisi, Georgia
Rustaveli Avenue, 8
His
Excellency, the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Esquire,
Distinguished Assistants to the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia,
Honors, the Chairmen and Members of the "FOREIGN AFFAIRS”, "DIASPORA AND CAUCASUS ISSUES”, "HUMAN RIGHTS AND CIVIL INTEGRATION”,
"EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND CULTURE”, and "LEGAL ISSUES”, Committees.
Dear Distinguished Members
of Parliament of the Georgian Parliament.
We would like to begin this letter to send warmest
greetings to His Excellency the President of the Republic of Georgia Mr. Mikheil Saakashvili, Esquire, the Friendly Government of Georgia and the Great Georgian people …
Circassia
has emerged on the 20th of May, 2011, which is the approach of the day
of the end of the 147th year of the end of the Russian/Caucasian War,
with limitless human concern and sympathy gesture, when the Caucasian State of
Georgia has decided to recognize the Circassian Genocide that had been
forgotten by the close and distant, and criminals had mistakenly thought that
they had managed to get away with their heinous crime against the Circassian
(Adigha) nation, and the entire humanity.
The Circassians
had been exposed as you
know to a devastating war that had lasted for 101 years, and was officially ended on the 21st of May, 1864, and resulted in the elimination of 50% of the
total population in addition to the deportation, displacement, and the transferring of those who were still alive while they were in a
deplorable condition.
The
echoes of this resounding event did not only reach and comforted the soles of
those who were oppressed and who had perished while defending their dear homeland,
and even went beyond the place to all Circassian communities in Diaspora and
those scattered groups in Motherland.
Wisdom
and ethical responsibility have prevailed with this important and unprecedented
recognition of the worst human disaster that the world had encountered in the
19th century, with tsarist Russian troops had executed a
predetermined ugly crime that had been planned in advance in the dark, and was implemented
aloud, by using savage force in order to occupy the Circassian territories and
to eliminate its population in any way possible.
This
brotherly move by the entire distinguished Georgian Parliament starting with His
Excellency, the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, the Distinguished Assistants to the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, to the
Parliament’s competent Committees, the respected Chairmen and Members of those
committees, and all the admired Members of the Parliament of Georgia, whether
in the Majority or the Opposition, who expressed through their speeches, intervention,
and support unrivaled human sympathy towards their Circassian brethrens, and
the mentioning of the virtues of the heroic Circassian people, represented by unprecedented courage, bravery,
and altruism, which will strengthen and enhance the vigor of the strong ancient
Caucasus history as deep-rooted relations between Georgians and Circassians on
one hand and between all the nations and peoples of the Caucasus on the other
hand, for better future and building peace among all peoples and nations of the
Caucasus, for a better future and for the sake of building peace to be enjoyed
by all peoples and nations of the Caucasus, hoping that other brotherly and
friendly states will follow this Georgian great example of recognizing reality
and legitimate rights that requires such strong political will through a true democracy.
Through Tbilisi’s resolution that
extends special human and honest call to the Russian State, in order not to
overlook the humanitarian and civilized dialogue in order to recognize the
rights of the Circassian nation, the International Olympic Committee must know
that holding the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Circassian Sochi, would be
considered a continuation of the genocide against the nation that borne the brunt of the
genocide which led to the
occupation of its homeland by the invading hordes of Tsarist forces.
Also, United Europe is urged
to take this opportunity to ascertain the rights of all European peoples
whether they are small or large to restore and regain their freedom and the
rights stated in the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights, particularly the
Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
On the
occasion of the anniversary of National Day of the Republic of Georgia today,
the 26th of
May, we would
like to extend our warmest congratulations to the great Georgian people, wishing to friendly Georgia continuous progress and prosperity.
26 May, 2011.
