Appeal to the Parliament of Georgia
With great respect and tribute, we would like to
send you our greetings and prosperity wishes to the Georgian People and to your
esteemed legislative institution, the Georgian Parliament, hoping that the
nations and peoples of the Caucasus would consider
their real interests in standing together for their better future without any
foreign influence wherever it would come from.
Justice for North Caucasus Group
and Associated Sister Associations/Institutions appeal to your live conscience for
the recognition of the Circassian Genocide that was committed by the reckless
Tsarist Russian State during the Russo/Circassian War that had lasted for 101
years against the entire Circassian nation by eliminating 50% of the total
population accompanied by displacing 10% of the other half of the population
whether within Circassia , the North Caucasus or so-called Continental Russia,
while a wicked plan was implemented for deporting 90% of those who stayed alive
by coordination with other evil parties to the Ottoman Empire, in order to
control the Circassian coast line on the Black Sea to reach the warm waters, to
occupy Circassia and the North Caucasus, and to erase the Circassian homeland
from the map and the face of the earth, in an imperial greedy attitude and
action regardless of the human toll and disastrous consequences.
147 years of the official termination
of the war in 21, May, 1864 have elapsed, and the Russian victorious forces had performed in the Circassian port city of Sochi a victory celebration military parade, for a victory against
people who used basically old and personal defensive weapons, defending their
homeland in a heroic manner.
Your recognition of the Circassian
Genocide would elevate the Georgian/Circassian coordination and cooperation
level to a high level of distinguished relations and would enhance better
future prospects for all nations of the Caucasus in a way that recognition of
the genocide would contribute and pave the way for a better understanding,
tolerance and peaceful solutions in the entire Caucasus Region.
