Dudayeva appointed deputy minister of culture Caharkala/Agency Caucasus – Alla Dudayeva, the widow of assassinated Djokhar Dudayev, the first president of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, was appointed as Deputy Minister of Culture of the country.
Official approval for the appointment of Dudayeva, currently an exile, came from Dokka Umarov, current President of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria. However, further details about the appointment were not officially disclosed.
