Colourful and controversial Bislan Gantamirov has gone head-to-head with the country’s pro-Moscow government, the start of his campaign for a seat in the Chechen parliament.

Gantamirov, the one-time mayor of Grozny, launched his parliamentary bid with a bang May 30, complaining to Moscow about wrongdoing by First Deputy Prime Minister Ramzan Kadyrov, the republic’s most powerful figure.

He accused Kadyrov’s “people” of breaking into his house and that of his younger brother and taking two million roubles and other valuables. He also called Kadyrov “the bandit boss of the republic” and said his home was targeted because he plans to run in the November elections.

Kadyrov denied any attacks took place or that money was stolen. Media reports said both men have been summoned to the Kremlin and advised ...

It is a justified alarm!

Despite of all attempts of the Kremlin to present the situation in the Caucasus in a positive way, nobody believes Moscow . Even permanent favors of the PACE, periodically organizing the so-called "round tables" to please the Russian aggressors, do not change the state of affairs. The next similar show is planned for the autumn and it is called to cover politically the preparing performance: the so-called "parliamentary elections of the Chechen Republic ".

While the PACE and Moscow conjures with the problem of legitimating of the occupational-puppet authority in the Chechen Republic , full-scale guerrilla war grows. Already for a long time war communiques come not only from the Chechen Republic . Dagestan is shaken with diversion actions; Karachaevo-Circassia is mentioned in connection with the next liquidation of a local collaborator. The second Russian-Chechen war, which has taken away, according to the most conservative estimates, more than three hundred thousand of human lives, crippled hundred thousand adults and children, completely ruined the economy of the ChRI - one of the richest North Caucasian republics, proceeds for the sixth year. The war, which has brought only blood, sufferings and interethnic hatred between two peoples - Russians and Chechens. So, there is a question, for what Putin and his surrounding have unleashed this unnecessary, except for them, and unclear massacre? What do they achieve, destroying Chechens with hands of Russian soldiers and where is the limit, after which Putin can declare to the nation: "We have won!"?

For six years of this war any official of the Russian authority, including also Putin has not answered to any of the asked questions, ...
