Coharkale/Agency Caucasus - Ramzan Kadirov, pro-Russian leader of , outdid Russians when he took an oath of allegiance to on the day of June 12, officially known and celebrated as Russia Day: " has always been an inseparable part of and will always remain so."  

Coharkale, the capital city of , hosted on Tuesday football games, car racing, wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling and tae kwon do to celebrate the Russia Day.     

One day before, on June 11, schools across the country organized round-table discussions over 'The Chechen Republic within the Body of Russia.' The same day, the Nevtiyanikov park in Coharkale hosted a dance show by Daymohk.

The inhabitant of Podolskiy has reported, with the reference to the eyewitnesses, on the Russian forum, that on May, 11th, after very active fights in the district of Shatoy and the collisions in other regions of Chechnya in the period on 27 April - on 2 May, 2007, in Podolsk from 4 railroad cars with the load "200" it was unloaded more than 150 corpses of Russian occupiers. Corpses were located in the bags.
 
At present these corpses are stored in the town of Podolsk of Moscow region with the address: the street of Mashtakov, house 4, provincial military clinical hospital 1586, pathologic anatomy department.

June 21, 2007 (RFE/RL) -- The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that Russian forces were responsible for the killings of four members of a Chechen family in 2003.





Zura Bitiyeva, a political activist and antiwar protester, and three members of her family were shot in the head at night by Russian-speaking masked men who the court concluded were members of the Russian special forces.
 
The court ordered Moscow to pay Bitiyeva's daughter, a plaintiff in the case who currently lives in Germany, a sum equivalent to $114,000.

Chechnya’s constitutional assembly voted on Thursday to prolong the president and parliament’s terms in office to five years. The decision is now to be put to a national vote. A motion to scrap the limit for the number of the president’s terms in office may also be considered. Should this decision be endorsed, the incumbent Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov will have good chance to become a lifetime president.
Chechen high-ranking regional officials as well as local legislators convened for a session of the Constitutional Assembly on Tuesday to vote on President Ramzan Kadyrov’s initiative to prolong parliament and president’s terms in office from four to five years.
