The Application of the President of the ChRI Abdul-Halim Sadulaev to the Chechen people

In the second decade of June, this year, the President of the Chechen Republic Ichkeria, the Amir of the State Defense Committee - Madjlisul Shura of the ChRI Abdul-Halim Sadulaev came out with the video application to the Chechen people in the native language.

The given text of this application is prepared for publishing by the Information-analytical centre at the President of the ChRI.

Chechnya sees growth in number of patients with oncological diseases

The consequences of military actions in Chechnya are leading to an increase in the number of patients with oncological diseases, tuberculosis and nervous disorders. This is evidenced in data supplied by the occupation republic’s puppet “ministry of public health” and by its medical institutions.

According to the data of the republic's psychoneurological dispensary, out of 200 adult inhabitants of Chechnya 137 are suffering from psychological disorders of one kind or another. Only the reason for the stress has changed, the specialists of the dispensary assert.

"Whereas three or four years ago there was no doubt that the incidence of psychological trauma was related to the violation of human rights in Chechnya, today the foreground is occupied by economic reasons for stress -- unemployment and the population’s low standard of living," they say.

Meetings of the Delegation of the ChRI in the Bundestag of Germany

On the 28-29-30 th of June, in Germany by the invitation of the German members of parliament, there was a governmental delegation of the ChRI, the members of which were:

Umar Hanbiev, the Minister of Health, the General Representative of the President of the ChRI in foreign countries; Apti Bisultanov, the Minister of Social Protection; Said-Hasan Abumuslimov, the Representative of the ChRI on investigation of the crimes of the Russian great-power chauvinism against Chechen and other Caucasian peoples; Dushuev Rahman, the Plenipotentiary of the President of the ChRI in the countries of Europe.

The meetings of the Governmental delegation of the ChRI with the Commission of human rights of the Bundestag, representatives of fractions of political parties of the Bundestag (the Parliament) of Germany took place.
