A man collecting scrap metal was killed by a bomb in Grozny's Oktiabrskii district yesterday morning. His partner sustained serious shrapnel wounds and was taken to the hospital. An object exploded in the hands of a nine-year-old boy in the Staropromyslovskii district yesterday. He had picked it in the street. The child was taken to Grozny's city hospital No. 9, in a grave condition, a Chechen police officer told Caucasian Knot.
Another explosion occurred in Makhkety, Vedeno district, on Saturday. A local schoolboy, Iles Gatsayev, triggered a bomb planted by unknown criminals in a half-ruined farm on the outskirts of the village. He was also taken to the hospital, the officer said.
