Addressing the meeting, the head of the department, Islam Vazarkhanov, pointed out that the tax bodies of the Chechen Republic collected taxes to the tune of R7,951m [284m dollars] for the budget of the Russian Federation in 2005. Compared with the previous year, the volume of incomings increased by R2,698.6m, or 51.4 per cent. The federal budget received R4,312.6m (excluding the social tax transferred into the federal budget). Compared with the previous year, this indicator increased by 104.9 per cent.
