KC: Trial Over Three Kadyrov's Killers From Russian FSB Gang Resumes In Vienna

Trial over three Kadyrov's killers from Russian FSB gang resumes in Vienna

Publication time: Today at 14:56 Emirate time

The Austrian state news agency APAreported about a new trial on the murder case of a former bodyguard of Kadyrov Umar Israilova in Vienna on January 13, 2009:

"The trial on the murder case of Israilov continued on Tuesday 15 March with extended interrogation of the second defendant, Suleiman Dadayev. He wanted to briefly clarify what really happened, because "so far nobody is interested in it", said the accused to the jury, chaired by Friedrich Forsthuber at the Vienna Regional Court.

Israilov possessed some amount of money that belonged to a unit one of the Chechen field commanders, Suleiman Dadayev explained, who in the past has already presented himself at court as the alleged enemy of Kadyrov.

According Dadayev, this unit had allegedly fought against the Russians, and therefore also against Kadyrov. "The idea was to return the money", declared Kadyrov's killer.

An emissary, according to him, came to Austria in August 2008 and met with Israilov, but the future murder victim cursed the emissary and sent him to hell. After that, according to defendant, the emissary approached him, Suleiman Dalayev, that he spoke with Israilov.

"I did not get from anybody any jobs or orders", said Suleiman Dalayev to the question whether the emissary ordered him to talk with Israilov or watch him.

"I have two or three times visited the places where Israilov lived to find out exactly where he lives", said Kadyrov's killer. He met with the future murder victim seven or eight times in total, the first time in May 2008.

This testimony is in complete contradiction to the charges made by attorney Leopold Bien, that Kadyrov had ordered the killing and that the first accused, Otto Kaltenbrunner, has developed an attack on Israilov for Kadyrov.

According to the indictment, Kadyrov's killer, Suleiman Dalayev, was closely involved in planning the crime. A third defendant, Ali Turpal Yeshurkayev, according to the indictment, was attacked together with Lecha Bagatyrev, the actual murderer, the victim.

Lecha Bagatyrev is now again in Chechnya, where Kadyrov gave him a post of a senior police officer. Several weeks ago he was wounded in a time when he committed another offense.

At the beginning of the trial Forsthuber announced a plan to further progress in the trial. There are scheduled questioning of witnesses who, on the one hand, talk about innocence of Otto Kaltenbrunner, and on the other hand, tell about the meeting with Israilov in the summer of 2008. These interviews will be held at the next hearing that to be held on March 25.

Regard the appeal for legal help to Moscow (the request for interrogation of Kadyrov - KC), then there is still no response received from Moscow, said Forsthuber. Russian authorities were given time until March 20 to send at least an interim report, the chairman of the court said", APA reports.
