Chechen residents detained in Moscow in May may be accused of preparing an attempt on Kadyrov's life
The Chechen residents arrested in Moscow in May who, according to the investigators, have to do with the car loaded with explosives and left near the "Profsoyuznaya" metro station, may be accused of preparing an attempt on Ramzan Kadyrov's life.
This has been reported to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Svetlana Gannushkina, chair of the "Civil Assistance" committee and Board member of the Human rights center "Memorial".
"The arrestees are still in prison. Since May, not all expert examinations have been completed on the car left near the "Profsoyuznaya" metro station!" says the human rights activist. "They are not going to be accused of terrorism but there is information that they may be accused of... preparing an attempt on Ramzan Kadyrov's life."
According to Gannushkina, the Batukayevs are a family respected in Chechnya, while deputies of the republican parliament have already vouched for Umar Batukayev.
Gannushkina has stated that during the time Batukayev has been under arrest he only met his relatives two times.
