GROZNY July 1 (Interfax) -
Three servicemen suffered wounds in what appeared to be a drive-by attack during a field-engineering mission on the outskirts of the village of Agishty in Chechnya's Shali district, the Chechen Interior Ministry told Interfax on Sunday.
The wounded sappers were taken to a hospital. A resident of Agishty was also wounded in the attack. An operation to hunt down the assailants is under way.
In another incident, a local resident sustained wounds when he tripped on a mine in Grozny's Oktyabrsky district.
