Appeal to the European Parliament

From public organizations of the Chechen refugees in Europe

Dear deputies, elected representative of the European countries!

Our appeal to you is connected with regard to the fact, that during 11 years there is a total war against Chechen people and its state, which is conducted by the RUSSIAN FEDERATION - RUSSIA, directed on destruction of Chechen people, in the presence of silent observation from the West side about occurbing rough infringement of international law by the Russian authorities.

Essentially, there is a genocide of Chechen people from the Kremlin side, which occupied the territory of the Chechen state. During 11 years Moscow is carrying out provocative work all over the world to represent Chechens as criminal people not capable of independent existence within the limits of their state,

In practice all is differently, Chechen people, strictly following norm of international law, restored its statehood in 1991, having carried out referendum in November, 25, 1990 where the will of Chechen people on reconstruction of the sovereign Chechen state was expressed. From this line the Chechen people does not depart, and this line is assumed as the most acceptable for the decision of problematic questions.

On the assumption of this, we, representatives of Chechen people, public and right protecting organizations of the Chechen refugees, on behalf of everyone who is outside of terrorist pressure of the Russian occupational authority, freely able to inform up to other world the will of Chechen people, we declare, that:

- It is necessary to stop military actions in the territory of the Chechen state and to withdraw Russian armies from;

- It is necessary to create conditions for a reconstruction of the Chechen statehood, being guided by the norms of international law and the Constitution of the Chechen Republic of Ichkerija accepted in March, 12, 1992;

- It is necessary to declare boycott to all illegal elections on an occupied territory of the Chechen state, including the parliamentary elections.

We call you:

- To immediate consideration of a question of the Chechen refugees in Europe which in many cases are not sattled, there are cases of their extradition on punishment to the Russian police machine which afterwards destroys them.

- To operate in a channel of international law, for an establishment of justice and peace in Chechnya which is a part of Europe.

The March - protest and meeting in front of Europarliament in November, 16, 2005 will be held to carry the massage across you and the whole world community about the true situation of affairs in the territory of the Chechen state, to hasten up the decision of a question on return of the Chechen refugees in free democratic Chechnya where each person might feel like in safety.
