November 1 Moscow (Russia) UN General Secretary-elect Ban Ki-moon will meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. November 3 Grozny (Chechnya) A round table on amnesty will be organized by the Chechen Ministry for Nationalities Policy, Press and Information. More. Novermber 4 Montreuil (France) Le Comité Tchétchénie will organize a conference and debate entitled "Women in occupied Chechnya". The event will take place at Maison des femmes de Montreuil (24 - 28 rue de l’Eglise) in Montreuil (near Paris) at 16.00. The speakers include Issita Arslanova, chairwoman of the French-Chechen Cultural Center, and Martin Rosselot of l’Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS). More. November 6-10 Moscow (Russia) Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic will visit Russia. His visit includes a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. November 7 Brussels (Belgium) A conference and debate about the human rights situation in Russia will be held on the occasion of the EU-Russia human rights dialogue. The event will take place at 19.30 at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Av. P. Héger, Bâtiment H Local H2215). November 24 Helsinki (Finland) EU-Russia summit. More. October 13 - November 30 Moscow (Russia) An exhibition of paintings by John Keane entitled "Fifty seven hours in the house of culture" and concerning the October 2002 Dubrovska Theatre siege. The exhibition, which first took place in London's Flower East Gallery this past spring, is taking place in Andrei Sakharov Museum and Community Center.
