Sayings of Djohar Dudaev

“Dear Djohar! … You have immortalized the name of the Chechen people, having lifted the banner of Freedom and Independence of your great predecessors - Sheikh Mansur and imam Shamil before the whole world. When notorious "fathers" of the great western democracy cowardly shiver before executioners from the Kremlin, considering the new massacre in the Chechen Republic to be internal affair of Moscow, you have already in practice proved, that the West shivers before the colossus on clay feet… “

• Autonomy is not a state, it is a colony. Today we should construct our statehood in reality, really, and not just having proclaimed our sovereignty...

• The trouble of Russia is that it tries to keep republics with political populism economically.

• Russians are nowhere protected more reliably, than in our republic.

• There is no violence, hostility to the people of other nationality in genes of our people. It proves to be true by our whole history.

• There is no word "to order" in the language of Chechens. We have never had either prisons, or exiles, or serfdom, or slavery, or princes, or grandees, there were no misters, or footmen.

• It is very difficult to improve the situation in Russia , as it is the only people on the planet, who have no belief and spirituality, they have no morals...

• The only purpose of my life is to fix the right of the Chechen and Ingush peoples for their self-determination.

• If Russians had enough power, they would dance on the graves of the last Chechens.

• If there is a terrorist state and terrorist people in the world, these are Russia and the Russian people...

• The Islamic world, always preaching moderation and gradualness in development of the mankind, always was extremely objectionable to the “crusade devil”.

• The History " has laughed" at the Russian people, as well as at other imperial peoples of the past.

• Each Chechen is a general and a kamikaze. I am only the one million first!

• We begin to build our state from "zero". And in this period the political bulls, ready to punch a gap in the barrier to freedom are necessary...

• We do not understand Russia as a whole: its government and its people. We shall always agree with the Russian people...

• We shall win, because we are right …

• We shall win! We do not have any other choice!

• We are Chechens, and it obliges us to much.

• Great affairs and great difficulties are awaiting us.

• … We can be kneed, only having been liquidated physically.

• Non-believers are silly already because they do not understand: there are forces much higher and stronger, than those, which a person can possess.

• Unjust ways will never lead to well-being of Russia .

• There is no greater nonsense than to stake on arms. They win not with a weapon, but with a reason.

• There is not such a barrier, which could not be overcome by the will of the people.

• Nobody gives something to the people, the people take it themselves. But for this purpose it the prepared for this consciousness of masses is necessary, and it is already senseless to try to keep it.

• It is necessary to trust in the way, chosen by the people, and to be able to protect openly interests of the people, entrusted to you their destiny.

• One person can never revolt the people if the consciousness of masses has not ripened.

• It is an unjust way to take away from the people the right given by the God.

• You will nowhere find meaner, dirtier politicians than Russian ones!

• There are no prospects against natural forces...

• The way of spirituality … It is also closed (for Russia ), as there are no Jesus troops, but there is a spiritless mass…

• The slave, not aspiring to get rid of slavery, deserves double slavery!

• It is the business of Russians to disorganize or strengthen Russia .

• Russia is sick of Russicism, whether we want it or not. The illness is extremely dangerous for the whole world.

• Russia turned out to be not a paradise, but a hell for Chechens, not the mother, but the stepmother.

• Not Djohar Dudaev is unsuitable for Russia ; the Chechen people are unsuitable for Russia .

• Russicism is a special form of misanthropic ideology based on the great-power chauvinism, full inspirituality and irresponsibility.

• Russians have got ill with Russicism - this degenerated ideology, more terrible, than fascism, Nazism, racism.

• Freedom is expensive. It is senseless to try to get it in a cheap price.

• A free Chechen is very useful to everybody, not even so much to himself, as to his environment.

• Today Russia is the most illegitimate country in the world, weaved in a criminal way.

• I am not afraid of Death, but even happy, that I can die at any time as a free person.

• Consciousness is difficult to be prepared for a short period of time.

• It is difficult to create a state, but it is even more difficult to create the Chechen state.

• We have a just purpose and consequently we shall win.

• We have our historical features, our specificity. It is impossible to put any standard on us.

• Our people do not have either princes, or misters.

• The Chechen people have ripened up to the degree to achieve independence up to the end.

• Chechens will survive! I have no doubt about it.

• Chechens know the price of freedom.

• The Chechen Republic has never been Russia , and Chechens have never considered themselves to be Russians.

• I am not sick with authority and I am ready to refuse it at any time.

• I am ready to burn down on fire for my people!

• I know that I am a victim. A victim literally by compulsion, but a realized victim.

• I am not going to visit Moscow and to listen to familiar grunting of Yeltsin.
