A Beauty War
 
On the 27th of May a rather peculiar 'war' is going to take place. A so called Beauty War. In Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, a Chechen Beauty-2006 contest will take place. 22 girls will be competing for the first place and for the 'big prize' - a Toyota. Those willing can vote for the perticipants online.
Even the idea for this contest is rotten. These girls, all of whom are indeed naturally beautiful will be exposing themselves like stock and be rated as pedigree cows. Why would they do that?!?
The answer is simple : society should modernize. In the so called modern countries such contests take place annually. But the organizer of this modernism, Mr. Ramzan Kadirov must have forgotten a small 'detail' - there is a war going on just a few kilometers away from the fashion show. Only God knows what had he done to lure these girls into the contest.
Instead of building houses and canalization in the cities he organizes useless events which attempt to show everyone that situation (Russians and pro-Russian goverment in Chechnya use 'situation' rather than 'war') in Chechnya is 'normalized and peace'. However, when an American professor held a lecture called 'The Next Nalchik' all possible Russian representatives from Washington to Moscow jumped like burned and started quacking that the professor was a terrorist. If everyday life in Chechnya is so normal and peaceful why be so alarmed at an eventual prospect of an eventual attack?!
The whole beauty contest story arises the question whether this so called Prime Minister has any moral values or would he rather sell his dead father's body if this would secure him more power. This pitiful insect does everything to disgrace a nation proud of its high honour. He can organize as many celebrations as he wants whether it is a Language Day or a rock concert. He can try to dishonour and scorn traditions that are observed for centuries. He can attempt to impose a 'modern' way of life for decades to come. But he won't stop the fighters from killing his unworthy for life servants or distract the Mujaheds from the sacred way to freedom and independence.
People like Ramzan Kadirov betray their own country, they lose all trust from their countrymen; they sell their souls. They become slaves to ruthless immoral little people like Putin. And when Mr. Kadirov becomes useless he will be removed by his own 'caring' master. Or he will be honoured the right to die from a sacred fighter's hand just like his father before him.
