79% of population of Chechnya support the legitimate

Chechen authoritiesPress release of the National Information Service of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (CRI NIS).

In compliance with order of the Military Committee of the State Committee for Defese-Majlusul-Shura CRI the CRI NIS conducted public poll in Chechnya. Results of the poll are given below.

79% of respondents said that they support the legitimate authorities of CRI led by the CRI President Abdul-Khalim Sadullaev. Moreover 67% of respondents declared that they are afraid to announce openly their sympathies, while 3% found difficulties to call exactly what's name of the President.

7% of respondents told about their sympathies to the pro-Russian puppet authorities, while 11% of respondents announced that they keep indifferent stands.



89% of respondents believe that occupation authorities initiate and support all murders and kidnapping cases in Chechnya. Moreover 53% of respondents assure that Ramzan Kadirov, Sulim Yamadaev and other chief persons of the puppet regime initiate and organise these crimes. 42% respondents assure that Federal Security Service of Russia (so-called FSB) and other structures of the Russian special services. 5% of respondents think that criminals connected with invader authorities are perpetrators of these crimes.



5% of respondents assure that the Chechen fighters are involved in kidnapping, while 6% of respondents found to determine exactly either invaders (puppets) or the Chechen Mujahiddeens are involved in kidnapping.

78% of respondents believe that the war continues in Chechnya; 10% of respondents declare that the ware turned to sabotage and terrorism; 8% of respondents said that there is not war in Chechnya and situation is stable.

4% of respondents assure that factually Russian special services and puppet regime imitate hostilities for the purposes of own enrichment and certain goals.

67% of respondents told about distribution of hostilities to other Republics of the Northern Caucasus; 16% of respondents assure that sooner or later hostilities will cover throughout North Caucasus; 12% allege the contrary and assure that situation in this region is stable and probability of hostilities is zero here. 5% of respondents assure that special services of Russia and local authorities are initiators and organisers of sabotage and destabilisation in the North Caucasus.

73% of respondents declared that that they would support integration of Chechnya with other North Caucasus Republics. Moreover 58% of then believe in such integration only after expelling the Russian army of occupation from the North Caucasus; 19% of respondents oppose to the integration idea, while 8% of respondents showed their indifference to this idea.
