Medical Aid and Relief for Children of Chechnya (MARCCH) and the Centre for Caucasus and Central Asia will host an all-day conference entitled "Chechnya: After Maskhadov". The Conference will be opened by Lord Rea and the other speakers include Akhmad Zakayev, Jeremy Corbyn, Paul Goble, Madina Megamadova, Khassan Baiyev, Natalya Estemirova, Andrew Jack, Chris Langton, Oksana Antonenko, Dov Lynch, Bill Bowring, Daniel Schriber, Muhammad Shishani, and Steve Crawshaw. Plus Vanessa Redgrave will be introducing Carlo Nero's film: Voices of Dissent.

The Centre of Contemporary Central Asia & the Caucasus at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and MARCCH (Medical Aid and Relief for Children of Chechnya) wish to announce the jointly organised conference: Chechnya After Maskhadov, to be held on Friday 25th November in the Brunei Gallery Lecture Theatre at SOAS.
This is an important one day conference in which a panel of experts and distinguished speakers will be setting the present conflict in context.
