Meeting of coordinators of the World Congress of Chechens and MKKK

The press-service of the World Congress of Chechens informs, that in September, 29, 2005 in the capital of Azerbaian in the city Baku was held the planned meeting of coordinator of VCHK Isa Akhiadov with the coordinator of the International Committee Red Cross Jean - pol Korbo (Jean-Paul Corboz), devoted to many problems of citizens of CHRI.

During this meeting it was discussed more than ten questions. Sharpest of them concerned infringements of human rights in the Chechen Republic and behind its limits, victims of the Russian - Chechen war and citizens of CHRI, being in places of imprisonment, and their relatives.

Questions on proper burial of remains of victims of the Russian aggression were discussed, visiting of places of imprisonment where they serve various times the Chechen citizens in the territory of Russian empire and concentration camps on occupied territory of CHRI, many of them are kept without court and investigation. And if there are so-called courts, in that case the terms of imprisonment are given to Chechens numerous, starting from 10 years and life imprisonments, taking Chechens to death. To the prisoners who are in the most severe conditions, relatives practically are not permitted, the food stuffs, medicines, clothes etc are not accepted.

Also coordinator MKKK was informed on technology and tactics of "squadron of death", cruel treatment with the Chechen girls kidnapped by the Russian chastisers.

Coordinator VCHK has told about a hard condition of proceedings of these prisoners. The set of the facts of brutal murders and the tortures made by the Russian terrorists both in the territory of CHRI, and behind its limits were given. Also photos and the videomaterials, shot by the Russian chastisers, extracted by the Chechen special services on which all the terrible truth of the Russian - Chechen war is visible were handed to coordinator of MKKK.

The problems arising at the Chechen citizens during the movement on territories adjacent from the Russian empires states, such as Azerbaian, Byelorussia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia and Uzbekistan were discussed. As problems of the Chechen citizens under examination or in jails in the territories of the specified states were discussed. The facts of infringement of their civil rights, severe the treatment with them and, especially, noway grounded their extradition after serving term of punishment to the Russian punitive centres frequently basing directly in the Russian embassies where the Chechen citizens become victims of the Russian terrorists were discussed.

The meeting had a volumetric format, after a break, on the second round of session, coordinators of MKKK and VCHK came to mutual understanding on development of the common strategy of the decision concerning above named problems. They coordinated the diagram of contacts. Some questions were discussed with several coordinators in other countries of the CIS and the main office of Geneva. Also questions of refugees from CHRI with representative UVKB the United Nations through office MKKK in Azerbaijan were discussed.

Jean - pol Korbo has expressed condolences to all Chechen people which have become the victim to the Russian aggression. He promised to undertake all possible efforts in decisions of above encountered problems.
