The Telegram of the President of the ChRI in connection with the death of the King of Saudi Arabia
To the crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdallah al-Saud
In the name of Allah, Gracious and Merciful!
Praise to Allah, the Lord of the worlds! Peace and favor of Allah to the best of the prophets, his family, and his associates! And then:
The Chechen people and the Government of the Chechen Republic Ichkeria has apprehended the news that after a long illness the King of Saudi Arabia Fahd ben Abdel Aziz Al-Saud - the keeper of two relics, has died, with a great regret.
In connection with that, on behalf of all Chechen people I express the sincere condolence to the relatives, friends and to all people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia .
Unfortunately, the short-sighted politics of the heads of the League of the Arabian States and the Organization “Islamic Conference”, constructed on conciliatory principles with the Kremlin regime restraining religious rights of 20 million Moslems of Russia, prevented to hear the voice of this authoritative leader in the Islamic world, who repeatedly called the world community to prevent the genocide of the Chechen people, being a part of the Muslim Umma.
The King of Saudi Arabia, as the keeper of the main relics of the Islam, is responsible before Allah for destinies of Moslems of the whole world, including Chechens.
It would be desirable to hope, that the state policy of Saudi Arabia at your government, in view of annoying misunderstanding, will be more favorable in relation to the tiny Chechen Republic Ichkeria, protecting its state independence, being at one of the bloodiest wars in the newest history of the world against the huge Russian empire.
Let Allah that the still proceeding second Russo-Chechen war, which recently has overcome the six-year term, due to prays of our Saudi and other brothers by religion, at last, would come to the end, and the long-awaited peace would reign in the distressful Vainahs' land! Amen!
