Young Chechen karatekas have won "gold" in Baku
Pleasant for Chechens news has come from Azerbaijan. On the 7 th of August, 2005 , in Baku a republican tournament of karate was carried out. Three our young compatriots, who became champions, took part in this tournament. They won 3 gold medals in contact fights in the weight category of 25 kg (Bakayev Adam 6 years old and Yunusov Hadzhimurad 7 years old), and in the weight category of 35 kg (Halidov Arbi 10 years old).
The skill of our young sportsmen, perfected by their trainer Ariz , the president of the club, entering the federation of karate of Azerbaijan, which in its turn is a member of the International Confederation of Karate, has been highly appreciated by the management of the karate federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan . It was suggested to them taking in the forthcoming international championship of karate, which will take place in October, 2005 in one of the countries of Western Europe .
"Ariz-club" regularly represents our young sportsmen at different republican and international tournaments and championships. For example, Chechens participated in competitions, which took part in Georgia , Ukraine , Kazakhstan , Iran , Turkey , etc. Chechen fighters repeatedly became prizewinners in these competitions, winning the main prizes. Following this tradition, "Ariz-club" trains our young champions, who have won gold in the republican championship, for participation in the next international competition in one of the countries of the European Union.
It would be desirable to tell about the person, who restlessly does his best for blessing of our Native land and the citizens, it is Ahyadov Isa. Parents of the sportsmen express huge gratitude to him for support of their children. In these exciting for children minutes he was near to them and in every possible way supported them.
The young sportsmen, who have supported honor of the Chechen sports – the children of the refugees, who have left the Native land because of the war, live in hard conditions. They need financial assets for the trip to Europe, which their parents cannot afford, and a help of sponsors would be desirable.
