The Kremlin lining
Oleg Smirnov, for CHECHENPRESS
Supernumerary. Exactly, this lot gives some light henceforth at Nurdi Nukhajiev, who was unanimously ratified as Chechen “plenipotentiary” of human rights by the "nation assembly" in Chechnya on last Monday. It was indicated as the merits of official for the election to this post, that he is a Doctor of Economics, who worked earlier in the organs of “plenipotentiaries" of the Russian President with respect to the guarantee of rights of citizens, Kalamanov and Sultygov, in the Chechen republic.
As it is known, Kalamanov and Sultygov in the intervals between the lickings of the heels of their Kremlin bosses "got authorized" to the fact that during two last Chechen wars almost 7 thousand cases of disappearance of peaceful citizens of Chechnya just remained undisclosed. And this only official information, which, in order to achieve the truth, must be elevated in square. Russian "death squads" methodically destroyed citizens, and gentlemen "authorized" attempted to assign these crimes exclusively to the soldiers of Chechen resistance.
By way of the "merits" of Nukhajiev the facts of his missions in the composition of promoscow Chechen delegations to all possible international forums and hearings, dedicated to the situation in Chechnya were brought. What was the Doctor of Economics doing there, Allah knows. Hardly by profile things. The war did not leave even slightest chance to the Chechen economy. Everything, what existed - is destroyed, but something new is not created.
In the times of Gorbachev reconstruction the officers, dismissed in the reserve, attended different free courses of re-training. From the masseurs to the stonemasons. Those remaining is not in the matters of physics dispatch in programmers. Reconstruction ordered a long live, but in Chechnya time seemingly has frozen under the sounds of shots and explosions. Peaceful professions are not needful here. Here it is needful either to know how to fight or to wag tongues no worse than Ilya Shabalkin. Nukhajiev, judging by everything, resembles the second category. Otherwise, he would state rejection. Doctor of Economics cannot but understand that the post of protector of rights is nothing but the beautiful cover, but his real occupation will consist henceforth on elementary prompter’s job, that is to say the insonification of Kremlin’s texts inside Chechnya and beyond its limits.
Any Russian ensign has in Chechnya more rights and possibilities, than notorious Chechen "ombudsmen". Who from Russian forces will be seeking advice from an official, who in accordance with his post is called to keep an eye on that, which in Chechnya does not already exist? About what kind of human rights in the attitude of peaceful Chechen citizens can be a question, if the bandits of Ullmann headed by him, until now, are on freedom? If the information about the new disappearances and murders of citizens by "unknowns in the camouflage forms" arrive almost every day? If Chechen and Russian human rights activists, who are trying to take the bearings of at least one from numerous facts of the committed cruelty, not only they evict from the republic, but also they subject to criminal pursuit. As Ruslan Badalov, against whom in order to put him in prison for a long time, was carried out large-scale provocation. As Stanislav Dmitriyevsk, who only because of the powerful international support knew how to remain on freedom and to have finished with conditional period. Where was Nurdi Nukhajiev all the time? Why did not we hear his voice from the general chorus of protest?
I am sure; no benefit latter-day Chechen "ombudsmen" will bring to his native land. Since, his mission, by the definition, consists of the role of lining between the Kadirov’s bandits and the Kremlin on one side, and the international instances on another one. This is just the same, if Adolf Hitler had appointed plenipotentiary for the rights of the Auschwitz prisoners....
