Up to 6 percent of respondents said Russians were trusting, generous, optimistic, patriotic, talented, and fair, and only 14 percent were undecided.
As regards the negative traits, 43 percent mentioned a predilection for alcohol and drugs, while 23 percent spoke of a hope-for-the-best mentality, lack of initiative and indolence.
