Aslan Maskhadov has won Putin

Interview to the chairman of National front of Latvia Aivar Gardo

In the Russian MASS-MEDIA sounded the malicious pleasure due to murder of president of Chechnia Aslana Mashadova, cynical declared, that he is liquidated. Similar emotions showed newspapers of the Latvian invaders. Whether it is necessary to spill bitter tears after this pleasure?

Aivar Garda: Consequences of this murder will very heavy for Russians especially because against Aslan Maskhadov huge disrespect was shown. The killed president was shown on TV, helplessly laying in a pool, with purposely naked stomach and a chest cavity.

My generation saw a lot many films about the Second World war when the Soviet army was at war with Germans. When captured any general or marshal who really was military criminal, they did it with respect. Never showed, that the marshal would subject tortures, humiliation.

But even after death they tried to humilate the president of Chechen people. though, certainly, it is impossible to humiliate the Hero after death. But present authority of Russia has shown, that it is even worse than the Stalin mode. Stalin somehow maintained the laws of conducting war, but murder of president Chechnia leaves the frameworks of every possible norms, besides, in this case Russia is a criminal aggressor.

Even the USSR , being at war against Germany which was an aggressor, all the same respected German generals. In any war they respect the president, the commander-in-chief of the armies of the opponent. Therefore in this case the Russian politics have shown, what they are actually little and insignificant people.

To disguise their barbarity, Russia tries to inspire all world and the compatriots, that Aslan Maskhadov was a terrorist. But he, as well as all Chechen people, wasa fighter for freedom. Tey could not break him to the last gasp.

It means, that Maskhadovs spirit has won Putin. I think, that Maskhadov would be more generous if his soldiers would have killed Putin. Putin's statement, that remains of "terrorists", and actually Heroes, should not begiven even to relatives, is simply barbarous.

It is difficult even to imagine such meanness when the president or the military commander perishes, and his remains are not given to the people! As well we till now do not know a site of a tomb of our president till 1940 Karlis Ulmanis. As we see, Russian chauvinists have shown the same low cut against Latvian people.

The uncivilized, brutal history of barbarity proceeds. Chechens will never forgive it. As well as other peoples and states, who do not state any protests today, understanding, that Russia is run by swines. I can only offer the president of Russia to return the remains of Aslan Maskhadov to the relatives .

So Putin would show characteristic of the master magnanimity, after all they already tell awful things about him. Probably, not without justification asserts Berezovski what exactly under Putin's order where the houses blown up in Russia .

- The murder of Maskhadov, as well as war against Chechen people is a genocide, means a crime against humanity. In my opinion, it is also necessary to qualify the attempt which has occurred one year ago of terrorists to kill you that you struggle for rights of Latvians to be released from invaders. Do Russian people carry the responsibility for crimes of the Russian politics against mankind?

Aivars Garda: Russian people buntoned. The most part is fooled by propagation and supports president Putin. In this aspect they too are guilty in a genocide against Chechen and other peoples.

But there is also a part of Russian people which resists the policy of Russia against Chechens and supports decolonization of Latvia . Maskhadovs Stretched hand was not necessary to Russia .

Maskhadov wanted to achieve validity, but Russia did not wish it. Russia by all means wants to keep the authority above Chechnia. When Russia has attacked Chechnia, Maskhadov together with fighting people has left in mountains to resist to an aggressor.

Now even the Russian journalists openly recognize, that the policy of Russia was directed on split of Chechen people, and on forming of the second grouping of Kadirov. Journalists state such idea: if Russia would conclude the peace with Maskhadov the one in the mountains would be Kadirov. This Means, that Russia became the hostage of its own policy).

This situation reminds of Latvia after year1940. Then too Latvian people where split, the most part was sent to Siberia , one part in woods was at war against that part which we might compare with Kadirovs unit - the Latvians working in structures of the nomenclature of a party.

I make a conclusion, what exactly therefore to us, fighters for freedom of Latvian people, exists such attitude, because many Latvians who now are at authority, in Soviet times served to occupational authority. Latvian people are still split. Lithuanians, on the contrary, did not address against people, but used the Soviet empire for needs of Lithuanian people.
