Five armed people broke into her home, killed the members of the family and kidnapped Zaira Ehvaya. According to the law enforcement agencies, members of the Georgian-Abhaz criminal groups were the ones behind the kidnapping.

About that it was spoken in the information widespread on January, 4th.
The CISCPMF Press-service noted that during the organized examination together with the village administration and interrogation of inhabitants of the settlement they found out that during the specified period any infringements of law and order had not been taken place.

As ИА REGNUM correspondent was informed by sources in the conflict zone, the attackers surrounded peasants in the center of village and robbed them, having taken away money and valuable things from their houses.
According to the sources, the villagers organized armed resistance to the attackers, so one was killed and two members of the armed group were wounded. Besides in the early morning the armed criminals stopped a bus moving to Sida which passengers they also plundered and thrashed.
