Maxim Gvinjia’s Meeting with the Head of ICRC in Abkhazia

On September 20, 2010 Max Gvinjia met with the Head of MCRC Ynke Vandormael in Abkhazia. During the meeting the Head of the Mission told the Minister about the current projects of the mission in Abkhazia. Inter alia, the ICRC continues the program on assistance to the orthopedic centre in Gagra. The project on humanitarian aid to the needy population in the Kodory Valley is being realized too. In 2011, according to Ynke Vandormael the organization is going to exercise a project on assistance to suffered victims from mines. The Head of the ICRC in Abkhazia gave a positive assessment to the actions of the republic leadership on further financing of programs of social and humanitarian directions. In turn, Maxim Gvinjia thanked the Head of the ICRC in Abkhazia for activity in the republic , assured that authorities of Abkhazia will give every possible support to the humanitarian organizations.
